A twelve hour drive
With twelve friends alongside
Makes for a spectacular way
to spend a Saturday

Twelve burgers consumed
Many shakes and fries too
And let’s not forget
All the onion rings yet

With places to stroll
From town to atoll
The conversation was lively
Even if the drive wasn’t timely

A full day was had
And no one left sad
A successful journey
With no need for a gurney

Now Christmas is near
And we add to our cheer
But this brings to mind
That it’s almost time!
