If you’ve known me for any length of time, you probably know that I am not a beach person. I much prefer the mountain environs and the tranquility that usually accompanies them. The beach is usually louder, I dislike sand very much, and it’s generally hard to find shade to get away from the sun. That being said, there are certain beaches that I don’t mind. We visited one today that checked a few of my boxes (Montana de Oro) . <\/p>\n
Beach Box 1 – Cliffs: They don’t even have to be particularly tall, as long as I can get above the waterline and look down on the waves. <\/p>\n
Beach Box 2 – Caves: Or a cove, basically any place that you can go in and explore. They need to be of a decent size, however, I don’t like small spaces. <\/p>\n
Beach Box 3 – Smooth Stones: For skipping. I didn’t know this was on my list until today, but it turned out to be a lot of fun, and they’re just everywhere on that beach. <\/p>\n
I’ll have to do some more thinking to see if there are any more boxes, but those are the ones that got addressed today. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
